The ski region of the Alpach Valley begins right at your hotel room door in front of Hotel Galtenberg - a family-friendly skiing area with snow guaranteed!Crackling powder snow and incredible firn await skiers of all levels and ages - whether amateurs or professionals. The Alpbach Valley ski region is divided into two areas. The large ski area around Wiedersbergerhorn, directly next to Hotel Galtenberg, is ideal for families as well as skiers looking for a challenge! The first chair lift to take you to up the slopes is a mere 50 meters away from our hotel! And only 100 meters away, and you and your family can jump on the 8-person cable car! Loads of slope fun begins right at your hotel room door! Our Mounty adventure playground with sledding hills as well as the BOBO kid's ski school spanning over 20,000 m² with a magic carpet and lift is also right next door! There are a total of 25 chair lifts and 52 km of slopes, of which 37 km are covered with artificial snow using over 67 snow canons. This ski region puts kids first - it has four children's ski schools and kindergartens. The Juppi Kid´s Club, the Kid´s Center at Wiedersbergerhorn Alpbach and the Mounty Children's Paradise guarantee your children fun and entertainment. The second largest ski region is around Reither Kogl and has a family-friendly 8-person cable car. This region is also perfect for beginners. Wide, untouched sunny cliffs attract people from all over to take a tour or go snowboarding, well-maintained trails lead cross-country skiers through the romantic winter landscape and hikers enjoy the sparkling winter wonderland. Moreover, you can go ice skating on one of the many lakes in the surrounding area or at the Kundler ice rink, or sled riding followed by a stop for a warm drink, like hot mulled wine - you&rsquore guaranteed to have a good time!
