Arrival & Departure
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in: We try to make your booked room available as early as possible on the day of arrival, but no later than 2 p.m. You can discuss your requirements with our reception team in advance. If you arrive early, you can use the wellness areas on request. If you plan to arrive later than 8 p.m., please let us know in advance.
Check-out: On the day of departure, we ask our guests to vacate their rooms by 11 a.m. Use of the wellness areas is possible on request.
Can I bring my dog?
Your beloved four-legged friends are welcome here by prior arrangement. We would like to point out in advance that your beloved four-legged friends are not permitted in the hotel restaurant, the wellness areas, the associated sun terraces, and the lawn.
When should I settle my room bill?
All consumption is charged to your room using your room key. We ask you to confirm each booking with your signature. To avoid waiting times on the day of departure, you have the option of settling your room bill by 11:00 p.m. the evening before. The following payment methods are accepted: cash, EC and ATM cards, as well as Visa and MasterCard.
Where can you park and charge your car?
During your stay, free outdoor parking spaces and underground parking spaces are available for an additional fee.
A total of 10 charging stations for all electric cars are available | for a fee
Is there public transportation?
The Galtenberg Resort is easily accessible by train or plane.
Train stations: Jenbach, Brixlegg, or Wörgl – transfer to and from the train stations is available for a fee.
Airports: Innsbruck, Salzburg, Munich – transfer to and from the airports is available for a fee.
Please book your transfer before arrival.
The bus stop is located directly at the hotel – flexible transportation from A to B every hour. All trips with the regional buses are included with the Alpbachtal Card!
Culinary
Allergies & intolerances?
In order to meet our guests’ dietary requirements during their stay, we ask you to inform our team at reception of any allergies, intolerances, and eating habits before arrival or at check-in. It is also possible to have a personal conversation with our head chef.
How many restaurants are there?
In addition to the Galtenberg restaurants, there is another à la carte restaurant: Conny’s Original Tiroler Wirtshaus. It is open from Wednesday to Monday from 11:30 a.m. and offers hot meals all day. Please make table reservations at the hotel reception. As part of the Galtenberg wellness catering package, you will receive a credit on your room bill when you visit the Tiroler Wirtshaus. Please note that this restaurant is not part of the Galtenberg inclusive services.
Are drinks included?
During meal times, we offer a comprehensive selection of soft drinks with various lemonades, still and mineral water, juices from our crystal springs, and various types of coffee and tea.
Water from the tap?
Our tap water is high-quality spring water with the best drinking quality from our own source. You can therefore drink the water from the tap without hesitation!
Which meals are included?
Galtenberg wellness catering includes a rich breakfast buffet, afternoon buffet with hearty fresh dishes, soup pot & desserts, 5-6 course gourmet menus & buffet in the evening, as well as a children’s buffet.
What are the meal times?
Breakfast: 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Afternoon buffet: 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Dinner: 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Children’s buffet: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Is there a dress code?
Every dinner is a special occasion, so we kindly ask you to wear elegant casual attire: men should wear long pants (including jeans) with a shirt or polo shirt, optionally with a jacket, and women should wear a stylish outfit. Furthermore, we kindly ask you not to wear bathrobes at the bar, in the restaurants, or in the buffet areas.
Wellness areas
How many wellness areas are there?
You can look forward to two spacious wellness areas. First, there is the Family Therme with a water park and “Dress On” sauna area for the whole family. Then there is the 7Heaven wellness area, which is for adults only, with a beauty & massage department, lap pool, outdoor relaxation whirlpool, sauna area, and relaxation oases.

What are the temperatures of the pools?

Are bathrobes, slippers, and towels available?
Cozy bathrobes for children and adults, as well as bath and sauna towels, are available for you to use. Slippers are available upon request at the hotel reception desk. “For the sake of the environment, we ask that you bring your own slippers.”
Summer holiday
What does the Alpbachtal Card include?
You will receive the card directly upon check-in. It is valid from that moment on and can be used without restriction until the day of departure.
With the Alpbachtal Card, you not only have unlimited use of all 4 summer mountain railways, but also admission to swimming lakes and outdoor pools, as well as the regional bus. Numerous other free experiences and attractive discounts await you!
Can hiking equipment be rented?
We are happy to provide you with hiking backpacks, poles, and backpacks for families.
Are buggies available for rent?
Buggies are available at any time in our buggy garage.
Can you rent e-bikes?
The e-bike rental is located directly at the hotel – e-bikes for adults and children aged 6 and above | for a fee
Do you have to register for activities?
As part of our weekly program, we offer activities such as guided hikes, MTB & e-bike tours, family excursions, and much more. You can register for these activities directly on site during your stay. We recommend booking guided Segway tours before your arrival | for a fee.
Can children also take part in guided Segway tours?
Anyone weighing 30 kg or more can participate. Before each tour, our guides will provide training and prepare you for the tour with a few short exercises.
Winter holidays
Are the lifts and slopes right next to the hotel?
The lifts and slopes for Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau are right next to the hotel. You don’t need your car or public transportation to get to the slopes.
Is the ski school area for children at the hotel?
The “ski&smile” ski school area is also located directly opposite the hotel.
Can you also rent sleds?
You can rent sleds with and without backrests free of charge at our hotel.
Are there also cross-country ski trails nearby?
The cross-country ski trails are located directly at the hotel.
Is there a ski school on site?
The skiCHECK Alpbachtal ski school office is located right next to the hotel. We recommend booking ski and snowboard lessons for children and adults before you arrive.
Where can I rent ski equipment?
The ski rental shop is also located right next to the hotel. There you can rent skis, snowboards, boots, poles, and helmets at affordable daily or weekly rates for adults and children.
Kids Club
Is there childcare available?
Childcare is available daily, 7 days a week, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. for children aged 0-15. Babies from 7 days old are welcome with advance booking.
Are there outdoor playgrounds?
A total of 4 outdoor playgrounds, including various bouncy castles, are available for our younger guests.
Is there an evening program for children?
There are also various evening activities for the whole family, such as a children’s disco, Galtenberg fashion show, Galti around the world, and much more. For more information, please refer to our children’s program or weekly program.
